- Born in Toronto, Shane Kelley lives in Hudson, Quebec (Montreal) with her two sons. Her career as a photojournalist began with the Toronto Sun as one of the first two Canadian female photojournalists working for a major daily newspaper. After several years at the Sun, Shane worked as a photojournalist for the Toronto Star. Shane then relocated to the Montreal Gazette for 15 years as a news, sports and general photojournalist. She was also well known for her popular weekly Montreal Gazette Style column (article and photographs). Shane's work has appeared in numerous publications; Time, Newsweek, Town & Country, People, Variety, Hollywood Reporter, Women's Day, USA Today, New York Times and more. Clients have included; United Nations, Canadian Prime Ministers Pierre Trudeau & Joe Clark, Chanel, Oscar de la Renta, Bank of Montreal, Sheraton & Hilton Hotels, Just For Laughs International Comedy Festival (festival photographer for 10 years) and many other great faces and places. Shane is available at the location of your choice for natural light or studio lit photography. Services include layout & graphics, writing and web design.
